My Entry For Altenew February 2020 Inspiration Challenge

This month’s Altenew inspiration challenge is being hosted by my top favourite Aussie card maker Therese Calvrid from Lost In Paper.

I have chosen to create a simple card for this challenge starting with a plain white front panel embossed with dots and swirls cover die for a subtle background and then stamped and die cut the flowers from Charming Doodles stamp set…the coloured layers have been stamped using crisp dye inks – hunter green, maple yellow and sand dunes.

The sentiment is from Mod Vases stamp set and has been stamped on a yellow cardstock piece with Obsidian black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today…hope you will have a great day ahead…

Two Cards For Valentines Day

I’m sharing two cards I made for Valentines this year…both cards have the same background where I added a bit of distress ink on plain red cardstock and then used a Simon Says Stamp heart background stencil with some white embossing paste…

For my first card I added an image and a sentiment from MFT Bionic Bots stamp set….and for my second card I used a funny flying hippo stamp from a Katzelkraft stamp set called Les Jungles….the sentiment for this card is from Clearly Besotted stamps…

Thanks so much for stopping by today…hope you will have a happy and crafty day…

Altenew Mod Vases

This is the card idea I had instantly thought of when I saw the new release Mod Vases stamp and dies by Altenew.

I have also used these Altenew products to make this card – Focus On You stamp set, Sentiment Strips stamp set, Metallic Watercolours, Crisp Dye Inks.

For the embossing I have used sizzix gold tinsel embossing powder as well as Nuvo glaze to give a bit more shine and dimension to the gold flowers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy crafting!!
