cards handmade by Pri with a little bit of effort and a whole lot of love!!
I have loved making cards ever since I was a young girl.
Little did I know, when I was making cards with paper, paint, crayons and even mum's lace and sequin supplies that I would keep enjoying this hobby later in life.
The cardmaking/paper crafting women and men all over the world are absolutely inspirational and have created this great community which I'm lucky to be a part of.
I stamped the Altenew Bird Of Paradise stamp set on a piece of watercolour cardstock and used the following Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers to colour them in – sweet leaf and lime for the leaves and fresh lemon and sunkissed for the flower…
I die cut the front panel from black cardstock and splattered citrine Altenew metallic watercolor all over…I stamped the sentiment from Floral Frame stamp set and heat embossed it using an Orange embossing powder from Ranger and then die cut using Apothecary labels die…I layered the sentiment label with a larger die cut from white cardstock….I adhered all the elements to the card front and added a few rhinestones to embellish it..
For my second card, I first used the Feeling Dotty stencil on the background panel and then added the stamped leaf springs from Fragile Foliage randomly all over the card front…I have added an extra layer of die cut under the stamped images to give a bit of support as the die cut was quite thin and adding foam tape for dimension wouldn’t have worked for this image..
I stamped the sentiment from Birds Of A Feather on a black strip and used gold glitter embossing powder to heat emboss it…I also added a little bird image to the card front and some green rhinestones to embellish it…
For my third card, I first created the background on the front panel using Simon Says Stamp Solar Burst Stencil with Distress Oxide inks…
I used Altenew Stunning Cosmos Stamp set and heat embossed the images using the Altenew Antique Gold embossing powder…I coloured them in by simply swishing them on a watecolour that I sprayed on my craft mat…once dry, I adhered these flowers onto the card using foam squares…
I die cut a vellum circle and used the Hello And Hugs set for the sentiment…and to embellish my card I have used gold Nuvo drops..
I hope you liked the cards I shared with you today…thank you for taking the time to stop by my blog…hope you will have a happy and crafty day ahead..!!
