I have seen so many pins on Pinterest where crafters have used the Stampin Up Tag Topper Punch to create a whole lot of projects..it is quite interesting to see, learn and create all these things…
So I made a box using the WRMK 1 2 3 Punch board…once that was done I took a piece of paper 2″ wide and 12” long and punched it on one end using the tag topper punch…then starting on the top I wrapped it around the box and creased it at every corner…I marked the point where I wanted to punch on the other end and then punched it….I then looped a ribbon through the two ends and tied it into a bow…
This was one of the simplest projects…and a great way to create a band to close a gift box……I will definitely look into trying out some more things with this punch or even coming up with something of my own…
Thanks for visiting my blog…

Spring is here and the first sign of the season is all the bright colours of the new leaves and flowers that we see everywhere….so I sat down to make a card with flowers and colours in it…
I started with a 5”x7” card base as I wanted to add more than a couple of flowers to the card…
The only thing that took time in this card was cutting out the heat embossed vellum flowers…these flowers were added to the top layer of the card which I had already coloured in using a few different distress inks….
The last thing to do was to adhere the big die cut word onto the top layer…and the bright flowery card was ready…
Hope you liked this card…

Post#65 ‘Made With Love’ Rectangular Gift Box

Coming up with dimensions for a gift box is not as easy as it seems…I took a pretty long time to get things right with this box…..So hats off to anyone and everyone who has managed to create a box or a gift bag from scratch with their own dimensions…
The aim was to make a long rectangular box to fit in a good amount of goodies inside…and so after a lot of tries I finally came up with dimensions for this box…The final box is about 7″ long and 2″ wide and 2″ tall..
Since I chose a printed cardstock for the box, I wanted the print to be seen and not covered up by decorations and paper bands…so I chose a small gold doily as the only decoration and closed the box using a gold stretchy string….
There is also a stamped tag on the box which has been die cut out of acetate and stamped with StazOn white pigment ink…
Hope you liked this box…

I haven’t made many encouragement cards, and I wanted to try one where the sentiment is the focal point and the stamping or embellishments do not overshadow it…
I chose a lime green card base and a plain white top layer….and on the white paper I stamped a leaf stamp with electric lime dye ink…then stamped again on top of the stamped image with Twinkling h2o watercolours…this was my first try with these watercolours…they did not stick on the stamp very well but once that colour was transferred onto the paper they looked really nice and shiny while giving the overall stamped image a great effect…
I then stamped the sentiment near the base of the card with Memento Ink called Rhubarb Stalk…
Hope you liked this card…

Post#63 Gift Wrapped with Newspaper and Coloured Paper Snowflakes

From time to time I like to share something on my blog that non-crafters can try easily….this is one of them…
I really don’t like how we waste wrapping paper and keep thinking of alternative gift wrapping ideas….using a newspaper tops that list…….and here I have used coloured paper snowflakes to decorate …simple but effective as it takes the focus away from the newspaper…
This idea took shape when I was making paper snowflakes with my daughters for Christmas decorations last year…we used white copy paper for those…there were a few extras which I attached to one of the presents…and it did look good…so this time I tried the same with three 6″x 6″ coloured paper…they look like flowers in coloured paper so it’s good for any occasion…
I stuck these flowers/snowflakes on the newspaper using a basic glue stick…and tied a couple of coloured strings around the package…
Hope you will try these out and have a lot of fun making them…

Now this is one of those projects where I was trying out something and it turned out to be something else….happens with me a lot somehow… 🙂
Anyways….I was trying to use the clear acetate sheet, that came with one of my newly purchased stamp set, and create a circle shaker tag…..but turns out that the acetate was too thick to use with the fuse tool…and by then I had already stamped the acetate with white pigment ink …embossed it with a stitched circle die….and die cut it with a larger circle die…
So this is where I cancelled the shaker tag idea and went ahead with creating a see through tag…
I die cut two circle frames from kraft cardstock…and then attached the stamped aceate sheet between the two frames…punched a hole at the top of the tag and threaded a brown string through it…
Hope you liked it….

I think that adding a butterfly element to any card or craft project makes it a little bit more cheerful….Here I have done that by using stamps and dies…
On a light pink card base, the plain white top layer has been stamped with butterfly stamps in bubblegum dye ink…In the middle of the card I have attached three die cut butterflies…the top layer is in deep pink, the middle layer in embossed vellum paper and the bottom one from the same cardstock as the card base….
The sentiment is stamped and attached using adhesive squares….and just a few pink sequins have been added as embellishments..
Hope you liked this card…

Thanks to the tutorial by box making/designing queen Sam Donald, this bag turns out perfect every single time I make it….I stopped buying giftbags from stores long back…and this one is a great size – 9″ height 7″ width & 3″depth…and since it is made from cardstock,it is very reliable and sturdy….
I chose grey textured cardstock(2 sheets) to make the bag….then I used the WRMK Flower Punch board to make 2 large flowers for decorating the bag….A stamped and clear embossed sentiment was adhered to the center of the flower….
Instead of using one ribbon for the handles I used two…I think that makes it look a bit more fancy…. 🙂
The one thing I added to this box were the two circle punched pieces 1/2″ and 1″ to the spot from where the ribbons are threaded…that is because if the things inside the bag are a bit heavy then there is a chance that the ribbons might not hold the weight and rip the paper…
Hope you liked this bag….

I am not sure whether this technique is called the sunburst or starburst but it has been very popular for a while…it is an excellent way to use your scrap paper too…and that is exactly what I did…and luckily I had scrap papers in all the colours of the rainbow…. 🙂
I started with eight bits of paper 1&1/2′ x 4″ and cut them all diagonally from top left point to bottom right point….these were perfect for making two cards….for making one card I would’ve used just four strips….
I then adhered the triangular sections to a piece of card and cut off all the extra bits…this was glued to the top layer of the card….added a ribbon or paper strip to hide the section where it meets the top layer….attached the die cuts and sentiments…put on some sequins to decorate and the cards were ready…
Hope you liked these cards…
