Happy Hoppy Easter Cards

I don’t think I have ever made so many Easter cards before…but one look at this very cute Avery Elle set with a bunny hugging an Easter egg was irresistible…so I made two more cards..!!

The backgrounds for both cards have been made using the MFT clouds mini stencil and Distress Inks…

For this first card I added two grassy die cut panels at the bottom and placed the die cut image there and stamped the sentiment directly on the front panel before adhering it to the card base..

For my second card, I die cut a Polaroid frame and used some vellum as a backing so the cloudy background would show through..I stamped the sentiment on the frame and adhered it to the card front…I then adhered the die cut image on the frame and added a few jewels to embellish my card..

I have applied nuvo gloss on the images to make then shiny…but that has caused the images to catch the reflection of the light I used while photographing my cards..

Thanks for stopping by…hope you’ll have a wonderful day ahead..

Easter Cuties

These Easter Party cuties by Lawn Fawn are simply adorable so it took no time at all to create these Easter cards…

For my first card I adhered three die cut frames from Mini Picture Frames by Lawn Fawn using white cardstock and adhered them to the front panel…I then placed the coloured in cuties on the frame and added the sentiment banner…the sentiment if from a Heffy Doodle stamp set called Special Day Sentiment..

For my second card, I used a rectangle stencil to create a background for the little cuties and then added a die cut scalloped border on the front panel….I stamped the sentiment and adhered the images to the card front..

Thank you for stopping by my blog today…I hope you are healthy and well and taking good care of yourselves…stay blessed..

Such Wonderful News – Clearly Besotted

I’m sharing a clean and simple card today…quite proud of myself actually as I was ‘successful’ in keeping the card clean and the design simple…which is quite an achievement as I was using watercolours as well!!

I stamped the flower cluster image from Clearly Besotted Stamps set called Just for you and heat embossed it using the Altenew rose gold embossing powder…I then used the Altenew watercolor markers to colour in the flower and leaves..

I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a black label and adhered it to the card front and added a few pink sequins to embellish my card..

I hope you liked my card…thank you for stopping by my blog today…have a wonderful day !!

Tulip Field Cards

The two cards I’m sharing today use the Hero Arts Tulip Field Heroscape Stamp and Die set…hmmm so what do I like about this set..??Everything I guess…I was so excited as the layers were super easy to position and the results were amazing..!!

I started by creating the backgrounds on the front panels of my cards…for the first one I used a circle stencil to create a setting sun kind of background and for the second card I used the sun stencil to print the sun at the top right corner of the panel…

On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped the layering poppy fields and other element stamps using Altenew crisp dye inks…I die cut them using the coordinating dies and adhered them to my card front…And finally, I stamped the sentiment on both cards using black ink..

Thank you for your visit to my blog today…Hope you will have a blessed and happy day!

Waffle Flower Baby Cards

Oh! I could’ve kept on making cards once I started with the Waffle Flower Little One Baby stamp set…it’s one of the most adorable baby stamp set I have ever used…and I am sure this will be my ‘go to’ stamp set for baby cards from now on…

I started by stamping and heat embossing all the images I needed for my cards…then coloured them in using alcohol markers and die cut them using the coordinating dies…

For the baby boy card, I sponged in a bit of mustard seed Distress Ink at the bottom of the front panel…I then adhered the coloured in and die cut images on it and stamped the sentiment at the top of the panel…the sentiment on this card is from an old Winnie And Walter stamp set called The Big, The Bold And Baby…

For the baby girl card, I lightly sponged in some salty ocean Distress Ink in the middle of the front panel and then placed all the stamped, coloured in and die cut images on it….

Thank you for stopping by my blog today…hope you will have a blessed and happy day ahead..!!

Birthday Card For Altenew Inspiration Challenge

Hello again…I’m sharing another card today that I made for the Altenew March 2020 Inspiration Challenge…I had started with 2 cards design ideas (the first one was shared on my previous post) and wasn’t sure the second one would work….but I went ahead anyways and here is the result…

I splattered a bit of black ink on the front panel and adhered it to my card…I then stamped the large succulent image from Inked Flora stamp set on a piece of watercolor cardstock and heat embossed them using platinum embossing powder…

I coloured in the flowers using the tiniest bit of Altenew watercolor brush markers and lots of water..I used Sweet Leaf, Midnight Violet and Sea Breeze markers…once dry, I die cut these flowers and adhered them to the card front…

I stamped the sentiment from the mini stamp set called Strawberry on a Dot Label which I heat embossed using the same platinum embossing powder I used for the flowers..

Thanks so much for stopping by…hope you liked my card…Have a happy and sunshiny day ahead..!!

Thank You Card For Altenew March Inspiration Challenge

This months inspiration challenge at the Altenew Blog was actually a big challenge for me….I tend to automatically reach for bright colours and combos so had to think hard to come up with a card design using the pastel shades from the inspiration picture..

I first created the background panel using the Altenew cube builder stencil and Wisteria and Iceberg crisp dye inks…on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the leaves and flower clusters using Firefly crisp ink…the stamps are from Focus On You and A Study In Watercolor stamp sets…

I stamped the sentiment on a couple of white strips ad adhered them to my card..I also added a few clear sequins to embellish my card..

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today…Have a happy and wonderful day ahead..!!

Birthday And Thanks Cards Using Altenew Watercolor Halftone Set

I don’t think I have ever tried any of the halftone stamps from Altenew before but I certainly enjoyed the watercolor halftone stamp set…all you do is ink it up and stamp as usual…but the results are quite amazing…

On my first card, I first used the Altenew Grid Stencil and light grey ink to print a light pattern on the front panel…I then splattered some jet black ink spray and adhered it to the card front…

I stamped the large flower cluster image using a couple of shades of coral and light pink crisp inks and then dabbed a bit of crimson on the edges for effect…the sentiment has been white heat embossed on black labels and I have added some black rhinestones to embellish my card…

My second card was much faster to create…I randomly stamped the single flower and leaf image repeatedly on the front panel and then added two die cut black fine frames…I adhered two green stamped and die cut images in one corner and a blue one on top…I placed the sentiment there as well and added a few white rhinestones to embellish it…

I’m super glad you stopped by my to take a look at my cards…thank you…hope you will have a happy and creative day today…

Cute Bunny Easter Cards

I got a good start on Easter cards this year and made quite a few of them…today I’m sharing the ones in which I have used the Bunny Friends stamp and die set from Pretty Pink Posh

For my first card I have die cut a stitched oval from the front panel and embossed it with a 3D embossing folder…I added a dotted printed paper in the die cut section and placed the coloured in and die cut bunny there…I also added a die cut scalloped frame(lawn cuts die) and added the sentiment on a pink banner…

For my second card, I used distress inks and a rectangle stencil to create the background for the bunnies…..I added a die cut frame from printed cardstock and stamped the sentiment directly on the front panel..

My third card was a quick one…I used a square stencil on a blue front panel and created the background for the bunny with distress inks…I added a scalloped die cut frame(kat scrappiness die)from purple glitter cardstock and then added the sentiment banner…

Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look at my cards today…I will be sharing a few more Easter cards soon…Happy crafting..!!
