In case you are wondering what a CAS card is….it means a Clean And Simple Card…and I like to try out these sort of cards from time to time…
The card base is plain white and I have used a dark brown textured cardstock for the top layer…I then cut a wide strip of white cardstock and stamped the flourish stamp at the top and base of that strip using Ranger Java Bean dye ink…I stamped the sentiment stamp in the middle using the same ink and placed the white strip on the top layer…
I stamped, coloured in and cut out a butterfly and placed it on the card…I also used a few brown adhesive pearls to decorate the card…

Simple One layer B&W Card

Pinterest is so great for inspiration….unless you spend all your time pinning and have no time left for crafting…ha haaa….anyways,I had seen a single layer card with dotted circles a very long time back on Pinterest and had been wanting to try it out…
Here’s the card I was talking about..Soapbox Creations by Laurie
So I pulled out my Fiskars Layer Away stamp set which is quite similar to the stamp set used by Laurie….and used a black ink to stamp the circles straight onto the white card…I also stamped the sentiment using the same black ink….
Since I wanted to use just one colour ink on the card,I went ahead and stamped the flowers on a separate piece using black ink and punched them out with the coordinating punch…I added a white adhesive pearl in the middle of these flowers before adhering them onto the card…
This card was made in record time and I think I will try it out in other colours soon…
Thanks for stopping by today…Hope you will have a great day ahead…Happy crafting…!!!

With Love Card

I love making backgrounds for my cards….it makes the card unique and it’s also helpful for me as I can coordinate my inks and embellishments easily…
On a red card base I have used a dark brown mat layer…the top layer is plain white and I have used various border stamps with dye inks to create the background for this card…
I then stamped the Gorjuss mini girl stamp on a separate piece of paper and coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers before cutting out and placing on the card…
The sentiment ‘with love’ is a die cut using brown glitter cardstock and I have also placed a few adhesive pearls in brown colour to decorate the card…
Thanks for visiting today…Have a lovely & blessed day ahead….Happy crafting…!!

Another challenge has begun today with yet another cute image…in fact I would call it a scene…and here is my card using that image in a card…

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade Card by PriCreated

For this card I have used a plain white card base and the top layer is die cut from printed cardstock using the largest stitched rectangle die…I used a smaller stitched rectangle die with white cardstock to create a frame for the image…I have also stamped the sentiment onto the frame itself….

I coloured in the image using Spectrum Noir markers and a bit of blue Peerless watercolour for the sky…once the frame was ready,I put adhesive foam tape under it and adhered it to the card base….

Hope you liked my card…

2 Cards – 1st Using Chalks & 2nd Using Paper Weaving Technique

I’ll be sharing two cards today….On the first one I have used craft chalks to colour in and for the second card I have tried out paper weaving but probably didn’t get quite right with the colours I’ve used….
I have used Kraft cardstock as the base for the first card and a light pink mat….I again used Kraft cardstock as the top layer and stamped the banner with white ink…once the ink was dry,I used an aqua brush to lift chalk and and colour in…
I then stamped the sentiment on on pink banner and adhered it to the card and decorated it with some adhesive white pearls…

Now for this second card,I have created a paper weaving background….I cut equal long strips from two different printer papers and started weaving…I really enjoyed this part….

The card base is green and there is a mat layer of black cardstock…and then placed the weaved top layer….I stamped the sentiment with white ink on a black banner and decorated the card with copper coloured sequins…

I do hope you liked the cards that I’ve shared today….Hopefully I can do better next time with chalk and weaving techniques…

Thanks for stopping by to take a look…

Sympathy cards are not for show or decoration, but to convey condolences to the recipient…to send a small heartfelt message at the time when someone has lost a loved one…so I feel these cards do not require to be overly decorated or intricate…
I recently saw a few lovely sympathy cards on Pinterest.…and even though I find them extremely hard to make,I thought I should try at least one….
I started with a plain black card base….For the top layer I used a printed cardstock and stamped and clear heat embossed the image in the center….I then covered the whole top layer with tea dye distress ink….I think it’s called the resist technique…
I added a few thin strips of paper at the top and bottom of the prepared top layer and stamped the message near the bottom before adhering it to the card….I have used a few black adhesive pearls as the only embellishments on this card…
Hope you liked this card….Please let me know what you think…..

Post#196 – Clutch Bag Style Gift Box

This box does look like a clutch bag, doesn’t it??I haven’t made boxes in a while because I’m running out of space to keep them….but I ‘had’ to try this one out… 🙂
You’ll find the excellent tutorial by Caroline here – Clutch Bag Gift Box Tutorial
It’s an excellent tutorial and the box is quite a good size and looks so pretty…..
I have used a plain aqua cardstock for the top cover and a double sided printed paper for making the inside base of the box…The ribbon matches the box cover and so do the adhesive pearls that I used to decorate the box…
Hope you liked my box……

Post#193 – Distress Inks Lifting Technique Card

Whenever I learn something new from a tutorial,I usually do a trial and then plan out the actual project…today’s card was a trial which turned out pretty great so I went ahead and finished the card with it…
I have followed a tutorial by Jennifer McGuire in which she teaches the Distress Inks Lifting Technique
So I have white heat embossed the image, then covered the whole top layer liberally with dusty concord distress ink…with a brush and water,I painted the inside of the flowers, stems and leaf….this lightened the colour and once dry I painted in the flowers with picked raspberry and the stems with mowed lawn distress ink….
I heat embossed the sentiment with white heat embossing powder as well….rounded two corners of the top layer and the card base….and decorated the card with a few adhesive white pearls…
If you like playing with distress inks then you should try this technique as well….

Hope you liked my card….

After making a love themed card yesterday,I sat down to create more cards for Valentines….and then realised that I don’t have a single stamp that says ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’…and it is already too late to order stuff online…so I am doing the best I can with all the stuff I do have…
Today’s card has a plain white card base and the top layer has a background created by using distress inks…I then die cut heart balloons in a few different colours and stuck them on the top layer….for the balloon strings, I simply used a red glitter gel ink pen and a ruler…
I die cut the word ‘Love You’ from red glitter cardstock as well as a couple from white cardstock and glued them together before placing it on the card…I have also used white adhesive pearls on the card as embellishments…
Hope you liked this card….

Valentines day is just a week away and I just realised that I have not made as many cards as I had thought I would….Better late than never…so I’m starting now…
The base of the card is plain blue and the top layer is white….On the top layer I have stamped the large word ‘love’ with red dye ink….I then used a lot if bright coloured inks to stamp various flower stamps on only two sides of the card…
I die cut the word ‘Love’ from blue glitter cardstock and kept it aside….Then I die cut the same word from the top layer and replaced and inset the blue one in it….I have used light blue adhesive pearls in various sizes as embellishments…
Hope you liked this card…

I have this printed paper with hearts and ‘hello’ printed in various languages and I was going to use it as the top layer for this card….it would’ve looked good but I changed my mind and decided to cut out all the words and place them individually on the top layer of the card…
I started with a pale pink card base and a white top layer….After stamping the typewriter at the base of the top layer,I randomly stamped hearts with light pink ink….I also coloured in the typewriter and stamped a heart and the word ‘Hey’ on it…
I rounded only two corners of each of the cut outs and sponged them with tattered rose distress ink before placing them on the card…I used the same distress ink to sponge the top layer and the card base…
White adhesive pearls have been used as the only embellishments on this card…
Hope you liked it…

Today I’m sharing a card that can be given for any special occasion….it can be for a birthday or an anniversary or any other happy event….
The card base is plain yellow….and the top layer has been created using four different distress inks and blending them slightly on a watercolour cardstock…
To decorate the four corners of the top layer I cut two squares out of gold glitter cardstock and cut them diagonally to create these triangular corners…In the middle I have a die cut frame from the same cardstock…the sentiment has been stamped on a yellow piece and die cut and adhered in the middle of the frame..
I used a gold metallic marker to colour in the tiny adhesive pearls that have used as the only embellishments on the card….the glitter cardstock makes it quite attractive and I did not want it to clash with other types of embellishments…
Hope you liked this card…

I think gold heat embossing powder is slowly becoming my favourite kind of embossing powder to use on cards….I love how it instantly brightens and highlights everything you emboss with it…it has taken me a while to get a hang of these powders, but now I think I’m able to get almost perfect results…
I started by rounding only two corners of the white card base and the top layer of the card….I then stamped the roses and leaves stamps on the top layer using Versamark ink and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder…
To colour in the roses,I decided to use Peerless watercolours…..once the colours were dry,I stamped the sentiment using pink dye ink…
I have used a strip of glitter gold cardstock on one side and a few pink adhesive pearls to decorate the card..
Hope you liked this card…..

Today I’m sharing a Christmas tag with a small shaker element…..I think that gives the tag a bit of a festive feel….
I started by die cutting the base of the tag using labels eight nesting dies from spellbinders….I then die cut about 6 small circle frames from white cardstock and stuck them one on top of another near the base of the tag….then put in a few sequins and sealed it using an acetate circle…and finally die cut another frame in blue and glued it on top….
Once the shaker section was ready I quickly attached the stamped sentiment and a few sequins and pearls …I glued a 3/4″ red circle and a 1/2″ white one near the top of the tag and and punched a hole for the ribbon…
Hope you liked this tag…
