Bright Birthday Card Using Altenew Ornamental Flower

Finally I got a bit of time to update my blog…thank you all for your patience….especially my crafty friends who got concerned for me…let me assure you that all is well and I just got too busy for a bit….even though I am still making cards, I just couldn’t find the time to update my blog for the past few weeks…so today I’m sharing a birthday card with bright flowers and a soft background that I have made using the Distress blending brushes….

I started by applying wilted violet and squeezed lemonade Distress Inks with the blending brushes on a piece of white smooth cardstock….I splattered some water for effect and once dry, I adhered it to a plain white card base…
Next, I stamped the beautiful ornamental flowers and leaves layering stamps on a separate piece of white cardstock using Altenew crisp inks…for the leaves I used sweet leaf, just green, hunter green and evergreen and for the flowers I used sunkissed, orange cream, firebrick, autumn blaze, citrus burst, maple yellow and honey drizzle shades of inks…

I die cut the flowers and the leaves using coordinating dies and once I was happy with the arrangement,I adhered them to the card front..I then stamped the sentiment on a white strip using deep iris dye ink and added a layer of purple glitter strip behind it before adhering it to my card as well… and finally to embellish my card I have added a few jewels..

Congratulations Card

One of my top favorite card maker/ blogger is Virginia Lu…..I love her card making style and all her creations so much…and for today’s card I have been highly inspired by Virginia…

I started by creating the front panel on watercolour cardstock….I applied some Distress Inks on the stamps and used a mister spray to spray some water mixed with a bit of perfect pearls and then stamped onto the paper….this gives such a wonderful watercolour look with a wonderful pearly shine as well…once dry, I adhered this panel to a plain white card base…

I then die cut some fine rectangle frames from black glitter cardstock and adhered then on the front center of my card…then, on a separate piece of cardstock, I stamped the sentiment and decided to split it into two labels…I inked the edges and adhered these label using some craft foam…
To embellish my card I have used some sparkling clear sequins and applied some Nuvo glaze on the sentiment labels..

Altenew February 2018 Inspiration Challenge

Me And My Daily Papercraft Blog - Handmade By Pri
This is the photo for this month’s challenge…
I started by creating a few masks of the flowers, buds and leaves and the stamped the outline images using black ink on two separate pieces of white cardstock..I added masks and stamped more images and then did the layer stamping the same way using Altenew crisp dye inks in shades of pinks and greens…I used the small dotty stamp in the set with green ink to cover the white areas where I wasn’t able to stamp any images…

Once all my stamping was done,I die a bit of fussy cutting on the top part of the panels and then layered them on top of each other using craft foam for dimension and adhered them onto a white top panel..I stamped the sentiment on this panel and adhered it to the card base…

To embellish my card I have simply added some clear Nuvo drops…
