Look Who’s Turning Three

Going through all my printed cardstock,I found this one with a printed glitter strawberry pattern and decided to use it for making a cute birthday card for a 3 year old…
My card base is plain white and I have stamped a red dotty pattern on two sides of the card base before adhering the printed top layer on it…
Using the MFT Precious Polaroid dies,I die cut three Polaroid frames and saved the center section to stamp the images….once the cute kids in onesie images were stamped,I masked them and used distress inks to cover the rest of the background…
I stamped the sentiment and a speech bubble on the middle Polaroid frame and added a red heart sequin on the other two before placing them on the card….

Hello Sunshine

Today I’m sharing a bright and cute card with lots of ‘pink’…I think it would be a good one to say hello and cheer someone up at the same time…
I chose a black card base and a white top layer…I used a couple of shades of pink distress inks and sponged them in to cover the top layer…then I stamped the background using a pink dye ink and few small stamps…I also stamped the sentiment at the top, leaving space for the little Polaroid section…
On a separate piece of cardstock stamped and coloured in the little girl in a bear onesie image and masked it to sponge in the background then cut it to size so it fits the back of the black Polaroid die cut…
Finally I adhered a few enamel dots to embellish the card…
Thank you for visiting today…Happy crafting…!!!

Happy Birthday Bunny

I recently discovered a stamp brand that I totally loved called Clearly Besotted….I bought a couple of stamp sets directly from them but before I could even post my first card using their stamps, they have announced closing down temporarily(from 1st Oct 2016)…I’m really looking forward to getting more stamps from them when they re-open in January 2017…
For today’s card I have used a blue card base and a white card base….using the same cardstock as the card base,I used a nesting die set called Lorraine’s Flower to die cut two different size pieces….
I then die cut two stitched circles from white cardstock and stamped the images on them…once the images were coloured in and the sentiment was stamped,I placed the white circles on the blue die cut pieces and placed them on the top layer…finally,I used a large rectangle stitch die to create the border as well as cut off the excess…
I have used blue sequins in various sizes to embellish the card…
Thanks for stopping by to take a look at my card….Have lovely & blessed day ahead…!!
