While searching for dimensions for a small milk carton style giftbox I came across a tutorial by Krista Driessen…and when I tried out the box…it was just I wanted…and soooo cute… čÖé
Here is the link for the tutorial if you’d like to try it out as well –┬áMini Milk Box Tutorial By Krista Driessen.
After creating the box I simply die cut three consecutive sizes from my hexagon dies and stamped the smallest one…I adhered them to the box using 3d foam squares….and finally a small wooden peg to close the box at the top…
Hope you liked this mini box…

One of my favourite ways to use distress inks is to use them on an embossing folder and spraying with a bit of water to create a kind of bright watercolour effect…you really can’t go wrong with this technique…
After embossing I let the paper dry and then cut it into 3 long strips and added them to an orange cardstock base and adhered them to the blue card base…
Then using the same blue cardstock I die cut a ┬áhi word and a hexagon shape around the word…I used the negative die ┬ásection by attaching a silver paper at the back…a few punched flowers were added for decoration and the card was ready…
Hope you liked it.

Post #2 Hearts & Hexagon Card

Hello again….Here’s my second post for my blog…

This card has been in my head for quite a while and I wasn’t sure how to use hexagon dies in my card….there were quite a few of them in various sizes in the die set and that was making it a bit more confusing for me…Using just a couple of those dies was a good idea…

There was also this heart embossing folder that went really well with the heart printed paper…

Hope you like it.
