Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer Card

I have finally tried out the Lawn Fawn magic picture changer die to create my very first picture changer card…It was quite easy to understand and assemble and probably the one main thing you need to make sure you do right is to stamp the images on the right part…

Once my picture changer was stamped, coloured in, die cut and assembled I added a white die cut frame on the front which is an add-on die for the magic picture changer…I then adhered this section onto a card base on which I have used one of the sheets from the Really  Rainbow paper pack..

I thought a lot about whether to add any embellishments on this card and finally decided to leave it as is….

Pivot Pop Up Birthday Card

I have had an awesome time making this pivot pop up card…the Lawn Fawn die makes it super easy and so much fun…I had already seen how it works in a few youtube videos, but the very first time I opened my card after the pop up element was added inside it – I may have squealed like a happy  little child!!!

It was a bit hard to take pictures of how the pop up element works in this card so I’m sharing a video of my finished card first and a few photos as well…
For this card, I have used a plain white top fold card base and simply added a die cut striped purple paper from the LF Really Rainbow paper pack for the front panel…I adhered a coloured in giraffe image and stamped the sentiment directly on the panel…I have also added a little bird above that sentiment and to make the giraffe and the bird look bright and shiny,I applied some Nuvo glaze on them…

Now to the fun part…the pivot pop on the inside of the card…I just had to die cut and assemble the elements which was quite easy…but before I put it all together,I created the scene on the long pop up panel…I used Distress inks to create the background and the trees and then added the coloured in and cut out animals and the tiny die cut clouds…I also stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment on this panel…once this panel was ready,I first adhered the pop up mechanism at the center of the card inside and then adhered the panel to it…

I also added some die cut clouds and grass borders on the inside of the card as well as a tiny branch with a parrot on it and my card was ready..I did have to open and close it a few times so that the mechanism starts to work properly and after a while it did..

Have A Roaring Good Birthday

Every time I create a card using the Lawn Fawn critters stamps,I get great results without too much effort…how good is that…??

I started with a top fold white card base and die cut watercolour cardstock top layer…I then colour washed this top layer panel with blue watercolour and used a heat gun to quickly dry it…I was hoping for an ombre effect but it just didn’t happen today as well…so I decided to emboss it using the next level embossing folder…
I added a few die cut birch trees on one side of the top layer and also die cut green cardstock for the base using the pierced rectangle die first and then the hillside border die..I stamped the sentiment and the grass stamp repeatedly on this green panel and before adhering it to the top layer…
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped the lion and the little bird and coloured them in and cut them out…I applied some glossy accents on these two and once dry,I adhered them onto the card..
To embellish my card I have used some sea breeze Nuvo jewel drops…
Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my card….Have lovely & blessed day ahead…!!

Birthday Card

We’ve now reached the last day of November for this year…and very soon 2016 will be over…card makers all over the world have been sharing such beautiful and artistic Christmas cards for the past couple of months which were a huge inspiration….I’ll be sharing my Christmas creations starting tomorrow….but first,a cute birthday card for today…
The card base is plain white and the top layer has been die cut from watercolour cardstock using a large stitched rectangle die…I then sponged in some salty ocean and mowed lawn distress inks for the background…
On a separate piece of cardstock I stamped, coloured in and cut out the giraffe and birds from various Lawn Fawn stamp sets…I had to mirror stamp the girraffe stamp for this card…I then stamped and die cut the large scripty sentiments using orange dye ink and die cut them using the coordinating dies…
I assembled the images on the card front in a way that it seems like the birds and giraffes are holding a banner…I have also used Ranger glossy accents on all the die cuts…and finally to embellish the card I have used tiny rhinestones…
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Hope you will have a wonderful day ahead…!!

Lawn Fawn Critters – Wild Zebras

I have used my MISTI stamping tool again for this card to create a mirror image of the cute zebra….I am amazed how fast and easy it is to create mirror images with the MISTI…
I chose a bright green cardstock for my card base and a watercolour cardstock for the top layer…I have used a few distress inks to create the background of the card and stamped the sentiment using black ink…
Using black cardstock I created a frame for the top layer with a large cross stitch rectangle die and a mini scallop rectangle die…
Then I coloured in two stamped images of the zebras, cut them out and placed them on the card facing each other…I also punched out a small red heart and placed it below the stamped sentiment…

Lawn Fawn Critters – Friends

As soon as I showed the completed card to my hubby and kids, there was quite a bit of a discussion  on whether a lion and a leopard would be friends or not…well, the card was ready but we kept discussing the lion-leopard friendship….I thought they would be great friends….what do you think…would they be friends because they have so many similar traits or would they be rivals due to the same…??
I chose a bright orange card base for my card and a die cut watercolor cardstock for the top layer…I then used distress ink and water on a small bit of acetate sheet and smooshed the ink onto the watercolor paper…
Once the top layer was dry,I die cut three different colours of cardstock using the hillside border dies and adhered them on it…I stamped the sentiment on one side and the sun on the other…
I stamped the lion and the leopard on a separate piece of cardstock and coloured them in using Spectrum Noir markers and then cut them out…I then covered both these images with glossy accents and set them aside to dry before placing then on the card…
Thanks a lot for visiting my blog today…Have a great day ahead….!!

Lawn Fawn Critters – Hi There

As soon as I bought a couple of Lawn Fawn stamp sets,I knew I was going make quite a few cards with them….they are all very cute but I like the fact that the images aren’t too small or intricate….makes it easy to colour in and cut out…
For today’s card,I chose a plain white card base and die cut the the top layer using the cross stitched rectangle die….I then used a few shades of yellow distress inks to cover the top layer and then used a brown ink and wood grain stencil to print the pattern….
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped coloured in and cut out the animal images and placed them on the card…I stamped the sentiment using black ink and placed a few sequins to embellish the card…
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!
