Bloom Where You Are Planted
I started by cutting white cardstock to size for the front panel of my card and then used the stencil and Distress Inks to create the background..I used the following shades – wilted violet, carved pumpkin, twisted citron and hickory smoke…I also splattered a bit of water and quickly dabbed it with a paper towel…
Once dry,I stamped the sentiment using black ink and then adhered this panel to a white card base…
On a separate piece of cardstock I stamped and coloured in the cactus and pots from a Honey Bee Stamp set called Stick with me using Gansai Tambi watercolours…once dry,I cut them out and adhered them to the card front with some adhesive foam…
To embellish my card I have simply added some black Nuvo drops…
Thank you for your visit today…I’m so glad you stopped by my blog…Hope you will have a wonderful day ahead…!!

You Inspire Me
I carefully cut out the top part of this panel and adhered it to the card front using some craft foam in between…I stamped the sentiment label and adhered it as well..
To embellish my card I have used Nuvo drops as well as a gold string at the top…here is a close up shot of the poppies…
Koala Hugs
I used the red berry Nuvo liquid and and a stencil and printed the pattern onto watercolour cardstock and set it aside to dry….it took a few good hours but the result was great…so I die cut it to size for my card and then placed this panel on a light grey textured card base…be sure to wash the stencil with warm soapy water immediately…
I stamped the Koala and baby on a separate piece of white cardstock and the coloured it in using watercolour pencils and Dove blending pen…I cut it out and adhered it to the card base using some craft foam….
I stamped the sentiment on a long thin strip of grey cardstock and adhered it to the card front..and finally to embellish my card I have used a few silver sequins…
The texture and shine from the Nuvo liquid is really awesome and I am so glad I tried it out…
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!

Scrapbook Boutique June Challenge – Black & Gold
The card I’m sharing today is my entry for the Scrapbook Boutique June challenge…and the theme of this month’s moodboard is ‘Gold Is The New Black’…and as you can see my card is just gold and black….I think I spent more time trying to click a good enough picture of this card rather than creating it..!! 🙂
I started with a gold cardstock for the card base and a black top layer slightly smaller than the card front…I then splattered the top layer with gold paint and once dry embossed it with Heidi Swapp wanderlust embossing folder… this embossing folder has thick stripes on it which look great and also helped me place the alphabet die cuts on the card properly which was a bonus…
Using gold foil cardstock,I die cut three different sized Polaroid frames and chose a black cardstock for the center…I stamped a few different flowers on these using watermark ink and heat embossed the images using gold embossing powder…
For the sentiment I first stamped a stripy border on a piece of gold cardstock(same as card base) using watermark ink and then heat embossed it using gold embossing powder….I die cut the alphabets from this and layered them with craft foam before adhering them to the card as well as the Polaroid frames…
To embellish my card I have simply added a few black Nuvo drops on the Polaroid frames…Here is a close up shot of my card…hope you can see the gold heat embossing on the alphabet dies a bit better in this picture…
A Card For Mummy & A Card For Daddy
In Australia,Father’s Day is celebrated in September while Mother’s Day is celebrated in May…so it’s a bit too early for me to create a Father’s Day card..but I’m sure all cardmakers will agree that it’s never too early to make cards for any occasion…
Both my cards are very similar and I made them both at the same time…I started with cutting the card bases to size from coloured cardstock…I then cut bright yellow and green plain cardstock for the front panel which I have embossed using the WRMK next level embossing folders…I cut these panels 1cm. short from one side only and adhered them to the card front…
I then die cut the words ‘mummy’ and ‘daddy’ from printed DSP using the lowercase dies…I die cut the same words again from craft foam and adhered the foam behind the alphabets before placing them onto the cards..
I have had a ton of fun making these cards…Hope you liked these too…
