I started by embossing two of the feather dies from Wplus9 Fanciful Feathers Die set using watermark ink onto a watercolour cardstock front panel and then quickly heat embossing those with gold embossing powder…I then used my Crayola Fine Line Markers and a waterbrush to colour them in…
For a textured pink card base I chose a watercolour cardstock top layer the same size as the card front…I then sponged in some Distress inks to cover the top layer…I have used spun sugar, picked raspberry and abandoned coral here…I also sprinkled some water for a bit of effect…
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped and coloured in the fairy images…I cut them out and placed them on the card…I have used foam squares on some of them for a bit of dimension…
Finally I used Nuvo jewel drops, glossy accents and sparkle pen to embellish my card…
Thank you for stopping by to take a look…Have a happy and blessed day today…!!

My first card is a simple one layer card and I have tried out the Masked Inking technique as shown in the tutorial by Jennifer McGuire..this is a great idea for adding depth and interest in a single layer card…
I cut three wide strips from textured pastel coloured cardstock and used a fringe scissor to add a fringe on one end of these strips before layering them and adhering them to the front layer…I used a large rectangle stitched die to create a border as well as to get rid of the excess….
I then stamped the sentiment on a small tag and adhered it to the card front and used glue dots to adhere the butterflies…and finally I have used Nuvo sea breeze jewel drops to the butterflies which was just perfect for this card…
