Let’s Go Chill Out!!

Little critter stamps are my absolute favorites these days….and there are way too many cute ones available from a whole lot of stamp brands….the ones I’ve used today are from Paper Smooches and the stamp set I’ve used is called Chilly Chums…
The card base is from bright purple textured cardstock and the top layer is plain white…..I then stamped the images directly onto the top layer making sure to mask the Penguin in the middle before stamping the Walrus and the Seal and coloured them in….I used a stitched hillside border die to create the blue wave at the bottom…
I stamped the sentiment using black ink and used tiny dots stamps to fill up the background and a few purple sequins to embellish the card…
Thanks for visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead….!!

You’re So Cool Card

These little animal stamps from Paper Smooches are so very cute and so much fun to create a quick card with…
For today’s card I have used a bright yellow card base and a plain white top layer…..on a separate piece of cardstock I stamped the penguin and the hat and coloured them before cutting them out and placing them on the middle of the top layer using some adhesive foam……
I stamped a few snowflakes on the top layer using a light blue ink and the sentiment using black ink…I also added two glitter strips at the base of the top layer – one black and the other one silver…and I used tiny blue rhinestones to embellish the card…

Sending You My Love Card

When I saw Jennifer McGuire’s video tutorial where she is teaching Faux Dimension With Stamping & Stencils,I knew I had to try it out….and once I did,I kept going and made quite a few backgrounds for my cards….esp with the stencil technique…
For today’s card I chose a white background and a white top layer….on the top layer I followed the instructions by Jennifer to create the dimension effect on the sentiment stamp…I probably needed to offset the second stamping a bit more for a better effect…
Once the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder,I covered the whole top layer with Squeezed Lemonade distress ink and then used a stencil with Mustard Seed distress ink to print the pattern…I have also added a strip of black glitter cardstock on one side of the top layer for a bit of a contrast…
On a separate piece of white cardstock I stamped, coloured in and cut out the little fox image…I have applied glossy accents on it and let it dry before placing it on the card using foam squares…
Thanks for visiting today…Happy crafting…!!
