I started by creating the background on my front panel with Distress Inks…I have used the following shades – antique linen, squeezed lemonade, wild honey and rusty hinge…I then used border dies and various plain coloured cardstock to create the clouds border for the top and hilly border for the bottom of the front panel…I used a large stitched rectangle die to cut of all the excess and finish off the panel neatly before adhering it to a plain white card base…
On a separate piece of white cardstock,I stamped the images I wanted to use from the Lawn Fawn ‘Rawr’ and “Critters from the past’ stamp sets and coloured them in using my Spectrum Noir markers…once I die cut and placed all the images on my card front,I stamped the sentiment..
I did not use any embellishments in my card but I did use some glossy accents on the speech bubbly, the hearts and the bows and added quite a lot of white dots using a gel pen…
I am so glad you took a bit of time to visit my blog today..Hope you will have a happy and blessed day ahead..!!

I then removed the mask and coloured in the image using Gansai Tambi watercolors…once dry,I stamped the sentiment using Versafine onyx black ink and adhered the front panel to a plain white card base…
I started with a white front panel and sponged on some wilted violet Distress Oxide ink on it and randomly left some places light and some dark(yes,it was intentional)…I then splattered some water on this panel as well as the same ink mixed with a bit of water..
On a separate piece of white cardstock I sponged on the same ink again and splattered a bit of water as well before die cutting the alphabets required for my sentiment..I applied some glossy accents all over the alphabets and once dry,I adhered them to my card front..I did use this white negative panel as a template just like it was shown in the video so it was pretty easy to adhere the alphabets correctly on the front panel…
For the other half of the sentiment,I used a small black strip of cardstock and stamped the word Birthday on it and then heat embossed it with silver heat embossing powder…I adhered it under the alphabet die cut word using some black craft foam underneath…
And finally I have used a few silver stars and sequins to embellish my card…
For participating in Day 5 of MFT Camp Create I have now earned this final badge as well…
I have used kraft cardstock for my first card….I created a section to place the acetate and then adhered it to the card…I stamped one sentiment on the card front and another one inside which can been seen through the acetate panel…
My second card has a full acetate front panel…I cut the acetate about half an inch longer than the card front so that once I scored it to size,I would be able to adhere the cardstock I used for the card back to it..
I stamped the little boy holding the large balloon and the sentiment on the panel using Stazon jet black ink…I don’t know if any other ink works on acetate but I know for sure that this one does…
Using Spectrum Noir markers I coloured in the images…you can see on the balloon that it didn’t work too well but it was ok on the small image…
I added a few silver star sequins to embellish this card…
