Just For You

cards handmade by Pri with a little bit of effort and a whole lot of love!!
I adhered the die cut word ‘happy’ and the stamped sentiment strip on the front of my card and added a cute stamped image of a little girl as well and my card was ready…
I stamped a pinwheel just above the sentiment and coloured it in before adhering this panel onto a plain white card base…to embellish my card I have added a few gold Nuvo drops as well as a bit of shimmer on the pinwheel..
Thanks so much for visiting my blog today…Have a great day ahead….Happy crafting..!!

I die cut the word ‘you’ from white card stock and adhered it on my card front….I then stamped the words ‘I love’ on a long white banner and adhered it to complete the sentiment…and finally to embellish my card I have used some small die cut hearts from gold glitter cardstock …
I’m glad you stopped by my blog…Thank you and have a wonderful day ahead…!!

I started with a textured apricot orange shade of cardstock for the card base and cut kraft cardstock to size for the top panel…I then die cut the leaf shape from this top panel and started to prepare the shaker element…
On a piece of white cardstock,I randomly sponged some Distress Oxide inks to create the autumnal look…I used vintage photo, lucky clover, antique linen and spiced marmalade shades here..I then adhered a piece of acetate behind the kraft panel…I then adhered adhesive foam tape to create a well for the shaker, added the sequins and added the inked panel to close the shaker well…
I did not add too many sequins as I wanted the inked background of the leaf to show a bit better…
Once the shaker panel was ready and adhered to the card front, all I had to do was stamp the sentiment on a small strip of the same cardstock as the card base…I used lucky clover Distress Oxide ink for stamping and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and adhered it to the card front using some foam squares underneath…and as a final touch,I quickly made a bow from gold string and adhered it to the leaf using a glue dot…
I never thought I could make a shaker card this fast…and it was so much fun creating this card with the timer running beside me…I think good planning was the key for me today…
So happy you stopped by my blog today…thank you for taking the time…have a happy and crafty day ahead..!!

For my first card I choose a black card base and a white top panel…I used the brick stencil for this one and sponged in all the colours onto the front panel and the die cut it before adhering it onto the front of my card…
I have been planning to try out coloured clouds ever since I saw one of my IG friend Dana share a fabulous card with multi coloured clouds in the background…so my second card has been inspired by her – but since we had to make bright backgrounds for today’s challenge,I went all out with the colours…I used the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil and Distress oxide inks to print the clouds all over a white front panel..I adhered this panel to a white card base..
On a separate piece of cardstock,I stamped and heat embossed the sentiments using copper embossing powder as well and then die cut them and adhered them to the card front using foam squares…
Finally I used a few copper and blue sequins to embellish my card..
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today…Hope you will have a great day ahead….!!

There was some great inspiration provided by the DT….I looked at all of their beautiful cards and decided to use a die cut sun as well as a rainbow background and a happy sentiment…this is how I interpreted the quote to create my card…
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog today…Have a wonderful day ahead…!!
POST EDIT – Just wanted to share that my card for the last Time Out Challenge was chosen to get ‘Honours at Taking Time Out’…yayyy..!!
For my first card I chose a lime green card base and die cut the top layer from watercolour cardstock….now for the fun part….I used the detail stamps from a rose layering stamp and and various Distress inks to stamp directly on the top layer….I used one colour at a time and with a water brush I quickly painted on the stamped area, spreading the ink out and painting a flower shape…I used my heat gun to dry the images and repeated the stamping and painting with other colours…I have used picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, candied apple, mustard seed and mowed lawn shades of Distress inks…
To add the gold splatter I had to roughly mask the painted section……I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a green label and layered it with a gold glitter label before adhering it to the top layer…
Finally before adhering the top layer to the card base,I ran the it through my Cuttlebug using a large rectangle cross stitch die…
I used a different…and much simpler idea for my second card….most of you would take one look at it and know exactly what I did to get the hand painted look in this card…
On a piece of watercolour cardstock,I stamped the dahlia and leaves outline images using a very light distress ink….I used a thin paintbrush and Peerless watercolours to paint on top of these stamped outlines…and my painting was done…tell me if I’m wrong but I think it looks hand painted.. 🙂
I then splattered some purple paint on the rest of the card and die cut the words ‘love & hugs’ from it…I then die cut the same words from orange craft foam and adhered it all back onto the card…to embellish my card I have used a few metallic orange sequins…
On a plain white card base I have used a yellow top layer…I stamped the sentiment right in the middle of this layer using a combination of a small word stamp and alphabet stamps….I then added the next layer above it which has been made from Vellum cut to the same size as the top layer and embossed using the quilted embossing folder….
Next,I die cut a rectangular frame from white cardstock and adhered it to the card…I also adhered tiny blue sequins on the Vellum in the area within this rectangle..
After that I stamped the cute bunnies and carrots on a separate piece of cardstock, coloured them in using watercolour pencils and my Dove blender pen and cut them out before placing them on the card…
Here’s a closer look at the how the bunny images turned out…
